About Us

Preventive Medicine is an independent, non-profit, research and education-based organization that was formed by healthcare industry leaders seeking to advance the study of wellness and integrative medicine procedures, therapies, and medications.  Some of the treatment options in this field are already supported by highly qualified scientists, physicians, and other medical professionals who point to decades of positive patient outcomes, observational and other studies, and a variety of published reports as validation of their efficacy.  Other treatment options are seriously questioned or, in some cases, rejected, by this same community of experts.  We serve as an unbiased examiner of all these treatments, conducting, sponsoring, and contributing to research studies that utilize scientific principals and the peer-review process.

Although our science-driven mission cannot be understated, Preventive Medicine views its mandate as extending beyond the research, testing, analysis, and eventual publication of studies.  The wide-spread appeal of wellness and integrative medicine treatments means making the results of these studies universally available to healthcare professionals and the patients they serve.  We therefore make all of the studies we are involved with, as well as any that we have analyzed and approved post-publication, available free of charge through our website or upon request.  It is important to us that anyone interested in extending healthspans whether it be their own or those of their patients, have easy access to high quality information about their options.

We use the conclusions from our research and studies, as well as the institutional knowledge our organization has gained from our Medical Advisory Board and our other contributing healthcare professionals, to help educate healthcare providers on wellness and integrative medicine therapies.  To that end, we offer certified continued medical education (CME) programs for physicians and other licensed healthcare professionals.  Our CME courses not only provide those practicing in the wellness and integrative medicine field with opportunities to learn about new, cutting-edge therapies, but serve as a valuable primer for those interested in incorporating preventive medicine into their medical practices.

At the end of the day, our commitment is to advancing the field of wellness and integrative medicine through science, research, and education, and we encourage all who are interested in further developing this field using those foundational principles to become a member of Preventive Medicine today!

Medical Advisory Board

The expertise and perspectives our Medical Advisory Board bring to Preventive Medicine are invaluable and each member is committed to ensuring that we adhere to the highest ethical and professional guidelines.
